Day for Dreams Event Supports Children With Cancer
Andiamo Coffee supports "A Day For Dreams", a not-for-profit organization founded with the purpose of bringing fun to kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases and to help raise childhood cancer awareness.
Formed under the Jacob Shank Foundation founded by Susan McKay-Bohner, they will be hosting an event in conjunction with the Ronald McDonald House of Manhattan and Long Island on Saturday, August 5th, 2006 called "A Day at the Beach" where approximately 20 - 25 children and their families will be treated to a fun-filled day.
However, they need help raising approximately $5500 to make this event a reality. All donations are tax deductable and will be used strictly for the event with no administrative fees as all labor and service are donated. Andiamo Coffee will be contributing desserts for the event.
Rick Riccardi, who is sponsoring the event at his Bayville Beach House, will be handling the event coordination and arrangements. So please download the informational .pdf and contact committee members Rick Riccardi, Susan McKay-Bohner, or Jennifer Love at 516-628-3588 for more information or to make a donation.
