Andiamo Coffee's Catering for Leeza's Place a Huge Success

Andiamo Coffee recently provided catering services to Leeza's Place at the Park Slope Geriatric Day Center. In 2002, Leeza Gibbons founded the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation to assist caregivers and their loved ones dealing with memory disorders and to make sure families around the country would never have to face what her family experienced when the diagnosis was made in Leeza's family.

Andiamo Coffee provided them with healthy lunch catering on Saturday, April 8, 2006 which included low-fat baked chicken cutlets, whole grain wild rice, mixed field green salad tossed with carrots, celery, sliced tomatoes, red peppers, and pitted olives as well as all the stands, pans and sternos.

In addition, Andiamo provided that extra little something which sets our catering services apart from anyone else. And it didn't go unnoticed. Besides an official letter of thanks (read it here), here's a handwritten letter we received from Cathy Warburton, a Leeza Care Advocate and an organizer of the event:

Dear Maria and Paul,

You two are angels! Thank you for bringing the delicious food (perfectly prepared!) and staying to help and chat. Your warm, friendly personalities added greatly to the "springy" atmosphere of the event. Please join us anytime in the future!

Best regards,

- Cathy (and all of us at Leeza's Place at PSGDC)

With allocades like that, don't you think you should contact Andiamo Coffee as well for your next event that requires catering services?

Andiamo Coffee Donates Coffee Gift Basket at Evening of Fine Food Event

We just received a really nice letter of thanks from Maryann McAleer, the Director of Development for the Queens Center for Progress, for our coffee gift basket donation at their Annual Evening of Fine Food fundraiser held on January 31st, 2006 at Terrace on the Park in Queens which you can download here for viewing.

Queens Centers for Progress is made up of people working together to promote the independence of individuals with developmental disabilities. Their services include education, therapy, job training and placement, day programs, advocacy, service coordination, housing, and many other support services to help people with developmental disabilities lead fuller lives.

Andiamo Coffee's customized gift basket service is a great resource for that special gift for that special person. (And isn't Mother's Day coming up soon?)

Andiamo Coffee On Display at Queens Taste of the World Event at the Douglaston Manor

For the second year in a row, Andiamo Coffee will be displaying their coffee, teas, and their new catering services at the fourth annual Queens Taste of the World event to be held at the Douglaston Manor on Wednesday, April 26th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Come experience some of the best culinary delights Queens has to offer. The event is being marketed using the following media outlets: New York Times, Daily News, About.com, Discoverqueens.com, Time Out New York, New York Newday, CitySearch.com, Queens Tribune, NY1, etc. In short, this is certain to be a well-received event. Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will be on hand to present the Queens Borough Eating Adventure Awards 2006 to the winners.

In addition, the Michelin Guide New York City will also be in attendance. Their prestigious rating system is internationally recognized and published in 12 editions throughout the world and recently debuted in North America last year. The Guide provides a comprehensive selection and ratings in all categories of comfort and pricing for about 500 NYC restaurants and 50 hotels.

Last year's event boasted over 300 attendees and this year that number is expected to grow. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased by contacting Michelle Stoddart at 718-263-0546. The Douglaston Manor is located at 62-20 Commonwealth Boulevard, Douglaston, NY 11363
