HBA Baby Boomer Expo News
As you know, Andiamo Coffee is a proud member of the Health and Business Alliance on Long Island. As previously mentioned in an earlier post, the HBA is currently working to produce the "Baby Boomer Expo" to be held on October 15th, 2005.
The Baby Boomer Committee (under the leadership of Joe Adams) has been hard at work to ensure that the event is a great success and has created a "wish list" that includes the following:
The event will feature 35 vendor tables which 17 are already spoken for. Flyers to promote this event have just begun to be circulated, so if you're a vendor and would like to participate, contact Janine Regosin of the HBA now before the tables are sold out.
The current corporate sponsors for the Expo at this point include Family Care Certified Services, The Holliswood Hospital, TimesLedger Newspapers, and Lichtenstein Financial Solutions with room for 2 more.
Plus, the HBA has been approached by a major media group on Long Island that would like to partner with HBA to repeat the Expo on L.I. at some date next Spring. While the negotiations are still in the beginning stages, participation in the October event will ensure a reserved spot for the possible Spring Event.
For those who cannot reserve a vendor table, there's still other ways to participate. You can display your company's literature at the HBA table for just $100 - and you don't even have to be there. Or, you can participate on that day by volunteering your time since many "hosts" and "ambassadors" will be needed to keep things running smoothly.
All the seminar spots are full for the Expo. Adriane Berg will give one keynote address and Ellen Eichelbaum and Newsday's Ron Roel will be giving another. In addition, well known Cosmetic Surgeon (Dr. Andrew Jacono) and a unique "customer service oriented" physician (Dr. Inderpal Chabbra) will speak on cutting edge developments in their fields. Dan Schaeffer, PhD. has signed to give an "inner golf" seminar which will hopefully take strokes off your game and will even give a separate seminar on "Golf for Women"
New and exciting developments taking place every day! So don't wait to get involved in the HBA's biggest event to date. Not only are we all having fun in the planning stages, but great contacts continue to be made and you'll get to be involved with a project that's sure to be a great success.
