Andiamo Catering Baby Boomer Expo

The HBA (Health and Business Alliance) recently hired Andiamo Coffee at their May 12th meeting for breakfast coffee catering for the Baby Boomer Expo scheduled for sometime in October, 2005.

Details of the event are sketchy at this point, but the group intends on meeting often to plan this expo and we'll update this blog as information becomes known.

Do Workers Really Value Web Over Coffee?

Although it's like comparing apples to oranges, or comparing Jennifer Garner to Jennifer Wilbanks, a recent report concludes that surfing the web may be more addictive than drinking coffee.

Workers were given the choice of either having web access at work or coffee at work and 52% of the employees surveyed stated they would rather give up coffee. The survey was paid for by Websense Inc. (NASDAQ: WBSN) of San Diego, which sells software to manage employee Internet use - which makes me question the results to begin with.

There's no question Internet usage is increasing, but as for me, I prefer to have my internet and drink coffee too!

Andiamo Coffee Shines at Art Fest

The 8th Annual Art Fest of Henderson, Nevada was held this weekend with phenomenal success. ArtFest, one of the largest outdoor fine arts and crafts celebrations in Nevada, is a collection of sights, smells, sounds and wonders for visitors of all ages and tastes.

The annual ArtFest™ of Henderson offers an opportunity to see another side of Las Vegas - life off the strip. Andiamo joined over 200 other vendors of fine food and arts from all across the country. Three stages provided dozens of different entertainment acts including jazz, folk, reggae, and light rock. Those performing included Killians Angels, the Carl Grove Combo Big Band, One Night Stand, the Air Force Band, Chris Alcaraz, and the Rick Arroyo Latin Percussion Ensemble.

Vendor booths displayed paintings, sculptures, ceramics, fibers, fashions, jewelry, woodcuts and mixed media and more than 50,000 people attended the event, many of whom picked up half pound bags of a variety of Andiamo specialties, including our Midnight Special, 50/50 Blend, Vegas Blend, Viva Las Vegas, Kona Blend, Players Club, and Mocha Java signature blends.
